Are your classes state approved?
This course and course materials is developed and certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services. You will only receive instruction from approved by Texas Department of State Health Services instructors. Your instructor has been criminally background checked by the Texas Department of Public Safety The State Official Certificate is required to be on display during classroom session and is displayed on our website.
How are the classes taught?
The Department of State Health Services mandates classes be taught over (4) two hour sessions. The typical schedule is Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday. However, on a case-by-case basis other scheduling options can be arranged, if possible. State statute does not allow any classes to be conducted over the weekend.
How much does the course cost?
The cost of the course is $100 and includes all state mandated materials for successful completion.

What are the consequences if I miss a class?
The Texas Department of State Health Services makes it mandatory that all registrants attend ALL classes to receive a certificate of completion. If you miss a class, you will be required to register for a new class and begin again.
When do I receive my certificate?
After you have successfully completed all requirements of a class, the instructor will provide you with official certificate of completion. The instructor will forward a copy of each certificate to other parties on a case-by-case basis.
Is it required to pay for the class in advance?
No, it is not required for you to pay in advance for a class. However, full payment is required when you attend your first class session. You can pay with cash, money order or credit card when you arrive to the classroom. For your convenience, you can pay in advance prior to your first class with a credit or debit card via the website.
What documents should I bring to class with me ?
Make sure you bring the following with you to the first class:
- Full Payment in cash, money order or credit card (if you haven’t already paid for class online)
- Your driver’s license or other form of identification.
Can I bring anyone else with me to class ?
No, this program requires registrants attend without any family or colleagues present.
Do we get any breaks during class time?
There are breaks every hour.
Is my personal information shared?
Absolutely not !! All federal and state laws pertaining to registrant confidentiality are followed. Any information you provide will be strictly held in confidence.
Our Tobacco and Vaping Awareness Class is an eight-hour program that is conducted in four, two-hour sessions over two weeks at a satellite location near you. The class is designed to educate Minors about the dangers associated with Tobacco, Vaping, E-cigarettes and JUUL.
